🍝 Chestnut Mushroom Pasta Recipe

A simple, creamy pasta dish that highlights the rich flavor of fresh Chestnut mushrooms.

🧄 Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (tagliatelle, linguine, or spaghetti)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2 cups fresh Chestnut mushrooms, sliced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup heavy cream (or plant-based cream alternative)

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)

👩🍳 Directions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.

  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the sliced Chestnut mushrooms and sauté for 5–7 minutes until golden and fragrant.

  3. Add garlic and cook for another 1–2 minutes.

  4. Stir in the cream and Parmesan cheese. Add a splash of pasta water to create a silky sauce.

  5. Toss in the cooked pasta and mix until evenly coated.

  6. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with chopped herbs.
